G-SHOCK, which since 1983 has been steadily pushing the boundaries of timekeeping toughness, is proud to announce the new SHICHI-FUKU-JIN (Seven Lucky Gods) Series of special model watches.
The Fukurokuju model of the seven models in this series is based on the GBD-800 from the G-SQUAD G-SHOCK line of sports watches. The band is decorated with a small light green pine pattern which also includes images of auspicious cranes and tortoises. The band ring bears three symbols representing good fortune, wealth and longevity.
The base model GBD-800 features a multi-segment digital display that makes it easier to read and operate while exercising. The LCD is divided into top, middle and bottom sections, and there is a digital dial on the top right. Each display area displays different information, measurement, timekeeping and other information, which provides useful data about your daily activity. This watch links with the G-SHOCK Connected phone app to provide access to several functions that enhance your training. Daily health and fitness support functions include a 3-axis accelerometer that keeps track of your step count, a Multi-Timer that allows you to create up to 20 timer combinations of five timers each, memory for up to 200 lap records, and more.
Lighting this display makes the K in the G-SHOCK name float in LED backlighting. Each model of the Seven Lucky Gods features a different character which together form the name G-SHOCK.
